Step 2: Create a New Project

Create projects to manage your workspaces and keep your files organized.

Account, Project, and Workspace Hierarchy

Each user is associated to a unique account, identifiable by account name, email address, and a unique account ID. Each account can have many projects. However, there can only be one workspace per project.

Create a New Project

To create a new project, click on the Add Project button within your account's dashboard. You can always navigate to the dashboard by clicking on the IllumiDesk icon on the top left hand corner of the page:

This organization structure allows IllumiDesk to segregate accounts and their files by "Namespace", i.e. each user has a unique path to their folders and files which can only be accessed by that unique user account.
